David Argue, P.Eng., PTOE
Vice President - TransportationMy Role and Responsibilities
I have spent over 30 years in the industry with a focus on transportation planning and design. My experience goes across the planning approval and design processes for roadway projects, allowing me to understand the complete process for a project from beginning to end and bring a unique perspective. I identify issues early in the process to allow for proper mitigation.
I have undertaken transportation and parking studies on behalf as municipalities as well as developers for a broad range of uses, including Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, minor variances, site plan applications, plans of subdivision, and other applications. I have testified as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal, (formerly the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and Ontario Municipal Board). Once the planning approvals are complete, I have taken the project through the design and construction administration process.
My experience encompasses traffic impact studies, parking studies, loading studies, transportation master plans, transportation demand management, traffic operations, secondary planning, traffic calming, site circulation reviews, safety studies, active transportation, transportation management plans, functional and design, and construction administration.
My Interests and Hobbies
When not at work, I can be found spending time with family, working around the home and cottage, or on the ski hills in the winter. When time permits, I do enjoy spending time in the kitchen.
