Cory Jones, P.Eng. is the President of Neegan Burnside Ltd. and a proud member of the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation. In this role, Cory works extensively with First Nation communities throughout Ontario and has worked on building projects throughout Canada and the United States. Cory graduated from the University of Western Ontario (Deans Honor List) with a Bachelor of Science (Civil Structural) and uses his expertise as a Structural Engineer for designs related to water/ wastewater, greenhouse and ICI design and review.
Amongst the many projects Cory has worked the following hold special meaning and have had a significant impact in their respective communities: the Willow Cree Healing Lodge in Saskatchewan and; the Chippewas of Nawash Elementary School, Cape Croker, Ontario where he attended as a youth.
Cory serves as a role model for Aboriginal staff in the workplace and promotes better knowledge and understanding of the First Nations people to both staff and the community and attends his community powwow with his family each year. Sports also play an important role for Cory who is an avid hockey and baseball fan and he volunteers as a hockey coach.
