Western Canada Water

Western Canada Water (WCW), approaching its 70th year, was founded to promote the exchange of knowledge of water treatment, sewage treatment, distribution of water and collection of sewage for towns and cities in Western Canada. Today WCW is a collaboration of seven Constituent Organizations representing more than 5,000 members who work in our industry.

In the early 2000s, Heather MacKenzie, from our Winnipeg Office, got involved with the Conference Committee for the WCW Conference held in Winnipeg in 2003. Since then, Heather has been Vice Chair of that same committee in 2006, 2009 and 2012 as well as Conference Committee Chair in 2015. Heather also started her 4-year term on the WCW Board in 2015. Congratulations Heather on formally being handed the gavel at the 2017 WCW Conference in Saskatoon.
