My name is Shawn, and I am a Project Manager and Senior Landscape Architect with Burnside, undertaking a multi-faceted role focused on growing and building our land development and landscape architecture businesses in multiple municipalities in Central and Southern Ontario.
For over 25 years, I have worked on numerous private and public-sector projects which have included golf, resort, park, and trail development. Outside of work, I have served as a local politician in both Centre Wellington and Wellington County, serving a combined five terms. During this time, I have chaired council committees on local planning, land division and information, heritage and seniors’ interests. I have also served on four important boards, including the Groves Memorial Hospital, the Fergus Grand Theatre, the Grand River Conservation Authority, and the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects.
My wife, our boys and I have lived in Elora, Ontario for over 30 years.
