Burnside has developed the most experienced and well-respected golf services group in Canada. Our project managers work closely with golf course owners, operators, architects and superintendents on new golf course developments, expansions and improvement projects. We can assist with obtaining regulatory approvals and developing economically viable and environmentally sound engineering designs.
Burnside is the preferred engineering consultant for the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and is actively involved in both the Ontario and Canadian Golf Superintendents Associations.

Burnside has developed sophisticated water balance models that have been instrumental in developing and securing approvals for long-term water management strategies. Burnside also provides stormwater management and erosion control strategies to eliminate nutrient loadings and minimize water quality/quantity concerns while also ensuring that such features fit well with the overall design of the golf course.

Sewage Treatment and Disposal
Burnside provides on-site sewage treatment services to handle the various types of waste water generated by golf course facilities. Our experience includes the design of small systems for maintenance facilities and comfort stations/halfway houses to larger systems such as clubhouses and golf course communities. Building Engineering Services
Burnside provides a full complement of building engineering services to the golf industry. Our structural, mechanical and electrical engineers work together, with or without an architect depending on the project requirements, to deliver a coordinated building solution to our client. Irrigation
Irrigation and water management are an integral component of any successful golf course facility.
