Barrie South Go Station

Burnside provided preliminary and detailed design and construction services for the new Barrie South GO Station. This $3 million project involved access roads and a new intersection with Yonge Street, bus loop, 400-car parking lot, station electrical/communication building, rail platform and on-site stormwater management pond. Site plan design involved liaising and coordinating with the City of Barrie, Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, and adjacent property owners.
